So what is this anyway?

This is my creative center and what good is creativity if you can’t share it with others. Here you will be able to participate in serious creative writing. It’s your own creative writing workshop at your fingertips. You can write flash fiction every week and I’ll even provide the prompt. I’ll be posting short stories you can peruse at your leisure, plus you can submit your own work as a feature selection or for a writing critique. At least sign the guestbook and tell us where you’re from.

Why should anyone have to pay to hear what others think of their fiction?

Here you won’t have to! Yeah, you heard me. I’ll provide an online source for you to get feedback on your creative work. You’ll get feedback from well known authors as well as amateur newbies and you’ll even get a few pointers from One Real Story authors to start things off.

So who am I to tell you how to write?

First of all, I’m not going to tell you how to write otherwise everyone would write the same garbage over and over again. That’s the beauty of creative writing. It’s multicultural in nature. Anything said regarding any of the works featured on this site are strictly suggestions or questions to help you see how your readers are interpreting your work. These comments are not hard fast rules to guarantee your creative writing success, just an opportunity to consider things you may not have considered before. Being creative is all about opening your eyes and your mind to new possibilities.

Back to the point in question, I am a professional writer. I’ve written everything from technical documents to fiction. I am an avid reader too and I keep up with the modern literature scene. Oh, and I can help you with this too. Here you’ll also find short story reviews that will tell you if you might be interested in reading more by a certain author, plus you’ll find out who is in the spotlight now. I’ve authored several creative works published in a wide range of journals. But most importantly I love writing fiction and I love helping others write their one real story and seeing their delight as their work comes to life on the page.

That’s why I’m here.

I’ll give you advice and tips to get you out of the doldrums, cure your writer’s block, and get you writing again. It’s selfish really. I made a resolution to start something I love and this is it.
